How it behaves in the disposer

Mixed plate leftovers: the disposer is on home ground here, because soft pulp gives way at once. A few turns in the chamber are enough: the grind comes out fine and leaves with the cold water. Mixed leftovers are the typical case: a little at a time, mixed, with cold water. Before scraping the plate, remove toothpicks, skewers and paper napkins. If there are bones, the bone rule applies. Beyond that, it is one of the scraps a disposer deals with every day.
