How it behaves in the disposer

Ice cubes are not a scrap but a cleaning trick: the cold stiffens greasy residue and the ice knocks it off the chamber walls. A few turns in the chamber are enough: the grind comes out fine and leaves with the cold water. It is not a leftover: you put it in on purpose to clean the disposer, because the cubes knock residue off the chamber walls. It cleans the grind chamber: about ten cubes with the cold water running. Once in a while is enough, and the chamber stays clean without any product.
