Terms of sale

1. The seller

The seller is LantierImpianti di Daniele Lantieri & C. S.n.c., registered office Via C. Guzzi 1, 20054 Segrate (MI), Italy, tax code and VAT number 05965750960, registered with the Companies Register of Milano Monza Brianza Lodi, REA MI-1862746, certified email (PEC) daniele@pec.lantierimpianti.it, email daniele@lantierimpianti.it, telephone +39 335 5767738. LantierImpianti is an authorised InSinkErator reseller and installer.

2. Scope

These terms govern the sale of the products shown on the site, for delivery in Italy, to consumers and, where compatible, to business customers. Supply with installation in Milan and its province is provided on quotation, under the terms stated in the quotation.

3. Before you buy

A disposer is installed under the sink and discharges into the sewer. Before buying, check the space under the sink and the drain opening (dimensions are on the model pages), and see the «Check your area» page.

For supply with installation in Milan and its province, we make the notification to the water service operator required by art. 107(3) of Legislative Decree 152/2006. For purchases with shipping, since we do not install and cannot be certain of the place and manner of installation, the notification to the operator is the buyer's responsibility. This is stated expressly on the invoice.

Outside Milan and its province installation is not included in the sale: it must be carried out by a professional, following the manual in the box. Where possible we suggest an installer in your area; the contract with the installer is between you and them.

4. Prices

Prices are in euro and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown in the order confirmation, before payment. For the SR line the price is on request.

5. How the contract is concluded

1. You send the order request from the site. The request does not bind you.
2. We email you the order confirmation: products, total price including VAT, shipping costs, delivery times, bank transfer details, these terms, information on withdrawal and the withdrawal form. The confirmation is valid for 7 days.
3. The contract is concluded when you make the bank transfer within that period. If the transfer does not arrive, the order lapses at no cost.
4. If after payment a product is no longer available, we tell you and refund what you paid within 14 days.

6. Payment

Payment is by bank transfer, to the details given in the order confirmation. We ship once we receive the payment.

7. Delivery

We ship by courier anywhere in Italy. Delivery times are shown in the order confirmation and, unless otherwise agreed, do not exceed 30 days from payment. The risk of loss of or damage to the product passes to you when you receive it. Shipping arrangements and what to do on delivery are on the Shipping page.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you can withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product, as explained on the Right of withdrawal page.

9. Warranty

We are liable for any lack of conformity existing at delivery that becomes apparent within two years of delivery (articles 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code). If the defect becomes apparent within one year, it is presumed to have existed at delivery. In case of a defect you are entitled to free repair or replacement; if these are not possible or not carried out within a reasonable time, to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

On top of this comes the manufacturer's warranty, with the length shown on each model's page: the extra years are obtained by registering the product within 60 days of purchase. The manufacturer's warranty does not replace or limit the legal guarantee.

Damage caused by installation not carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions is not a lack of conformity, unless the error results from deficient instructions.

10. Take-back of the old appliance (WEEE)

When you buy a new disposer you are entitled to the free take-back of an equivalent used appliance, as explained on the WEEE page.

11. Service

InSinkErator service in Italy, in and out of warranty, is handled by RiEko, the official distributor: requests are opened from the Service and warranty page. For the legal guarantee on products bought from us you can always write to us.

12. Complaints and disputes

For any complaint write to daniele@lantierimpianti.it or daniele@pec.lantierimpianti.it: we reply within 15 working days.

For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction, as provided by law. For disputes with business customers, the Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction.

Consumers may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed in the registers provided for by the Italian Consumer Code.

13. Governing law

The contract is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
