Data controller

What data we process

Data you provide through the contact form: full name, email, phone, town/city, type of request, model of interest and any message; for product-only orders, also the delivery address and, if different, the installation address.

Data you provide through the “Let us check your address” form: full name, email, phone, address of the property (street and number, postcode, municipality), type of property, type of drain, any notes and, if you choose to attach them, photographs of the space under the sink.

Data you provide when contacting us directly by phone, email, WhatsApp or Telegram.

Technical browsing data logged by the hosting provider's systems (for example IP address and time of the request), required for the website to work securely.

Purposes and legal basis

Replying to your requests for information and quotes: processing is necessary to take pre-contractual steps at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Checking the address where the appliance would be installed: we use the address to identify the water utility in charge, and any photographs to assess space, drain and power socket without a site visit, again as part of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Photographs are optional: if you do not send them, the check is done by phone or on site.

Notifying the installation to the water utility, where such notification is due: processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (art. 107(3) of Legislative Decree 152/2006; art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Handling orders and sales: order request, confirmation, delivery, take-back of the old appliance, withdrawal and refund. Legal basis: performance of the contract and of pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b). We keep invoicing data for 10 years, as required by tax law (art. 6.1.c).

Answering requests and handling the legal guarantee on products sold, when you write to us or call us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or Telegram. Legal basis: performance of the contract or of pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b). Technical service requests are handled by RiEko, under its own privacy notice.

Complying with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting obligations, in the event of a purchase (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Sending you commercial communications about LantierImpianti products and services: only if you have given specific consent, through the separate dedicated checkbox in our forms (art. 6.1.a GDPR). That consent is optional, it does not affect our reply to your request and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to daniele@lantierimpianti.it.

How form data reaches us

The forms on this site do not go through third-party services: they send the data to a program hosted on our own hosting, which forwards it by email to daniele@lantierimpianti.it and stores a copy in an internal record of requests (our address book), which is not reachable from the web.

Photographs you attach travel inside the email and are not left as files on the website server.

The forms use a hidden anti-spam field: it only serves to tell automated submissions apart and collects no data about you.

Retention

Request data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and to follow up on the contacts arising from it; in the event of a purchase or a job, for the periods required by tax, accounting and warranty law.

Photographs stay within the correspondence about your request and are deleted once they are no longer needed for the check or the job.

Data processed for commercial communications is kept until you withdraw your consent.

Recipients

Data is not disclosed to the public. It may be processed by Aruba S.p.A., the provider of the hosting and of the domain email, and by advisers assisting us with administrative and accounting obligations.

Where notification of the installation is due, the necessary data is communicated to the water utility in charge of the address (art. 107(3) of Legislative Decree 152/2006).

If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp or Telegram, the content of the conversation passes through the servers of those providers, which process it under their own privacy notices; those services may process data outside the European Union too. The site forms, by contrast, deliver the data to our mailbox on the domain.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing (arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to daniele@lantierimpianti.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
