How it behaves in the disposer

Leftover eggs: the disposer is on home ground here, because soft pulp gives way at once. A few turns in the chamber are enough: the grind comes out fine and leaves with the cold water. Boiled eggs, omelettes and egg leftovers grind without difficulty. Eggshells have their own page. Beyond that, it is one of the scraps a disposer deals with every day. The sound tells you when it is done: it changes and drops as the chamber empties.
