How it behaves in the disposer

Cakes and desserts: plenty of starch, which in water turns into a sticky paste. A few turns in the chamber are enough: the grind comes out fine and leaves with the cold water. Cakes and soft desserts grind easily. Paper cases and inedible decorations must be removed first. Beyond that, it is one of the scraps a disposer deals with every day. It changes little in what you do, and a lot in what is left in the bin.
