Lettuce and cabbage: how well it grinds depends on the texture, and this one asks the disposer for extra work. One grinding stage is enough, and nothing is left behind in the trap. The leaves grind well, but in large amounts they tend to pack together: a little at a time, not all the outer leaves of a head at once. With that one precaution it becomes an ordinary scrap.
