Broccoli and cauliflower: how well it grinds depends on the texture, and this one asks the disposer for extra work. One grinding stage is enough, and nothing is left behind in the trap. Florets and soft trimmings are fine with every model. The stalks are a different matter and have their own page. With that one precaution it becomes an ordinary scrap. If you produce a lot of it, it is worth checking your water utility’s rules.
