How it behaves in the disposer

Cooked beans and pulses: the disposer is on home ground here, because soft pulp gives way at once. A few turns in the chamber are enough: the grind comes out fine and leaves with the cold water. Cooked, they are soft and go down easily. The skins of chickpeas and beans that come off in cooking are thin and go down with the rest. Beyond that, it is one of the scraps a disposer deals with every day.
